Safeguarding Vision Statement
At Carmountside Primary Academy, safeguarding is at the heart of everything we do. We believe that every child has the right to feel safe, valued, and protected, and that safeguarding is the responsibility of every member of our school community.
We are committed to creating a culture of vigilance, where staff, governors, volunteers, families, and pupils work together to ensure a secure and nurturing environment. Everyone who comes into contact with children and families plays a vital role in identifying concerns, promoting welfare, and taking action to protect those at risk.
Our governing body ensures that robust safeguarding arrangements are in place and that we work in partnership with external agencies to support children who may be vulnerable or at risk of harm.
This vision applies to all children who attend or visit our school, and to all adults who work with or support our school community—whether as staff, volunteers, governors, contractors, or external providers. Together, we strive to uphold the highest standards of care, protection, and respect for every child.
