Religious Education at Our School
Our Religious Education curriculum is delivered in line with the Stoke-on-Trent Agreed Syllabus for Religious Education 2026–2031. It is designed to challenge and inspire children to explore a wide range of religious and non‑religious worldviews, while encouraging them to reflect on the big questions of life.
We aim to equip our pupils with the knowledge, understanding, and skills they need to respect and appreciate the beliefs of others, helping them to thrive in today’s diverse and ever‑changing world.
Our curriculum provides rich and varied learning experiences. Children explore religious and non‑religious worldviews through creative approaches such as art, music, drama, and dance, alongside discussion, shared texts, and more formal writing opportunities.
Religious Education lessons at our school are intellectually challenging, engaging, and personally enriching, supporting pupils’ spiritual, moral, social, and cultural development.
