Carmountside Primary Academy follows the Societas Trust Admissions Arrangements.

Nursery & Reception Admissions

Admissions for children starting Nursery or Reception at the beginning of the academic year are managed and allocated by Stoke-on-Trent Local Authority.

Nursery Admissions (2027–2028)

Applications should be made online wherever possible. If you need a paper form, these are available from the school office.
Children are eligible for the 2027/2028 nursery intake if they turn 4 on or before 31 August 2028.

Reception Admissions (2027–2028)

As with Nursery, applications should be submitted online unless a paper form is required. Paper forms can be collected from the school office.
Children are eligible for the 2027/2028 reception intake if they turn 5 on or before 31 August 2028.

In‑Year Admissions

If your child needs a place during the school year, this is classed as an In‑Year Admission.
These admissions are managed jointly by the school and Stoke‑on‑Trent Local Authority.

To apply, complete an In‑Year Transfer Request Form and we will then confirm whether a place is available.
