At Carmountside Primary Academy, we recognise the vital role that computing plays in modern life. In an increasingly digital world, we believe that all children must be equipped with the skills, knowledge, and confidence to use technology effectively, responsibly, and safely.
Our vision is to provide a high-quality computing education that enables pupils to become digitally literate and confident users of technology. We aim to foster curiosity and creativity, encouraging children to explore how technology works and how it can be used to solve problems and express ideas.
E-safety is at the heart of our computing curriculum. We teach children to navigate the online world with care and awareness, helping them understand the impact of social media and the importance of respectful, responsible digital behaviour.
By the end of their time with us, we want every pupil to have a strong foundation in computing—able to use technology to support their learning, communicate effectively, and participate fully in the digital age.
