We recognise the importance of English in every aspect of daily life and want our children to develop the fundamental tools to achieve in the outside world. English at our school is concerned with providing high quality learning opportunities that will enable children to speak, read and write effectively so that they can communicate their ideas and emotions to others effectively. We want our children to discuss and to present their ideas to each other by talking, being able to elaborate and explain themselves clearly, make presentations and participate in debates as well as being able to express themselves clearly and creatively with the written word.
